The popularity of vinyl has been renewed. Here at Walvis, we realized in 2012 that there had been a significant increase in the number of inner sleeves, protective covers and accessories for vinyl records that we were selling. Good news! We've been making a living doing that for decades, and what could be better than having your favorite music on such a beautiful, real object as an LP?

Unfortunately, there will always be opportunists among us. While we are familiar with high-quality accessories from well-established brands such as Knosti, Nagaoka, Tonar, GrooveWasher and our own Walvis Products house brand, there has been an enormous proliferation of products under the most far-fetched brand names. All too often, these are cheap, inferior products from the same Chinese factories, wrapped in fancy packaging with all kinds of completely out-of-the-blue — sometimes even occult — claims about the fantastic effects of said products. The supply comes from an extremely diverse collection of resellers (partners) on platform web shops — people who prefer to leave the thinking to AI because they either never learned how to think for themselves or simply don't have the knack. Not to mention that they have any understanding of vinyl records, or that the 'love of vinyl' they invariably profess contains any sincere kernel of truth. Then there are all those Chinese factories and traders who, via dropshipping and wholesale platforms/international e-commerce marketplaces, know how to find us all too well, partly due to a lack of proper legislation. What a pity that such over-advertised junk is also asked for the jackpot price, often even a price that no longer bears any relation to the cost price of such a ramshackle inferior product.

Don't get conned! Beware of that huge amount of rubbish out there! Instead, buy such a specialist product from Walvis Products, where they know their stuff. In doubt?
